This is probably the easiest and most natural way to find a local dentist. If you’re looking for a dentist in a new place, turn to your friends, family members, and coworkers for recommendations. If any of them go to a dentist that they love, they’ll want to tell you about it. Ask questions about the dentist’s availability and how far they are from your house. Be careful not to ask too many people for recommendations because you may have trouble picking just one.

You may not immediately think about your insurance when trying to find a dentist, but it’s really important. Your insurance company’s website will have a list of doctors that serve their insurance holders. The website will probably include a pretty long list, so try narrowing it down by filtering out the dentists farthest away from you.
If you’re a millennial or heavily dependant on your phone, the easiest way for you to find a dentist is through Google. Search “dentists near me” and look through your choices. The search results should include ratings and even comments from other patients. Once you’ve chosen a dentist, go to their website and you may even be able to schedule an appointment online.
